WHO AM I?

My name is Reva Teatiu and I’m originally from Tahiti.

I wasn’t born in the water, but almost.

And since the day I first stood on a surfboard as a child, I’ve been hooked ever since. I was one of those locals who were lucky enough to share the waves of Teahupo’o and Taapuna with some of the world’s top champions.

After more than ten years traveling the world in search of the best waves, I settled in Capbreton, in the Landes region of France.

There, I discovered a new passion: teaching surfing. Seeing my students progress, their smiles, and how quickly they start enjoying themselves brings me real joy.

Even today, there are only rare days when I’m not in the water, either alone or with my students.

Lessons mainly take place in Capbreton, on the most suitable spots depending on the conditions of the day.

When needed, we can also move to Hossegor or Seignosse to find waves that are better suited for learning or progression.

Conditions change every day, and there are waves all year round! In winter, the swell tends to be bigger and more powerful, while in summer it’s usually softer and more beginner-friendly.

But whatever the time of year, we look at the swell, wind, and tide to choose the best time slot. The idea is above all to find conditions suited to your level, so the session is both enjoyable and productive.
